Our Story

It started with a simple belief: every child can learn to read, write, and spell with confidence if given the right tools. Founded by Bukky Ekine-Ogunlana, TCEC Publishing grew from decades of active classroom teaching and tutoring experience in London. What began as customized spelling lists and auditory phonetic drills for struggling students soon evolved into a comprehensive, multi-sensory curriculum that has transformed early childhood education.

Bukky Ekine-Ogunlana is an author, educator, parenting coach, and co-founder of The Children’s Education Centre (TCEC) in London. Holding a Master’s degree (MA) in Management & Education from the University of Greenwich, she has dedicated over 25 years to teaching, lecture coordination, and parenting expert mentorship.

As a mother of three and an academic tutor, Bukky knows firsthand the challenges children face with spelling mechanics, school pressure, and early literacy anxiety. Her best-selling workbook series distills decades of active classroom methodologies into logical, step-by-step home study programs, enabling parents to support their children’s academic progression seamlessly.
